Jocelyn wanted to have a friend party for her 3rd birthday. We decided on a Fairy Tale theme. We started the party by coloring and putting stickers on Burger King crown for the kids to wear during the party. They really loved that! (Great idea, Tiffany!)
Then we moved on to a "Dragon Hunt" (like a bear hunt, but more with castles and motes and, of course, a dragon) where they had magic wands and at the end, they turned their dragon into play dough! Then they got to sculpt the dragon into whatever they wanted to! Most of them sculpted their dragons into snakes, balls, and cookies. One little girl was very creative and formed hers into play dough.
(example of a crown and party bag, modeled by none other than the beautiful super hero princess Carrie)Then we read the "Gingerbread Man" while they ate gingerbread men and bread with jam while I told them "Hansel and Gretel." At the end of "Hansel and Gretel" they got some candy.
Then Jocelyn got to open presents. She got some really fun toys! Thanks everyone!

After presents, I read "Little Red Riding Hood" and found a version of the story where she takes a basket of cupcakes to her grandmother.
So, of course, we decorated cupcakes afterward. The moms were arriving about then and were able to help decorate and eat some cupcakes. This seemed to be the favorite part of the party.
